Massage is a massage by applying pressure on the body in various ways by hand or devices, with the aim of treating muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, skin, connective tissues, lymphatic vessels, gastrointestinal tract, elbow, knee, fingers, hand, and foot.

There are more than 70 types of massages around the world, and massages can be done on a bed, seat, or on a floor mat. Massage was not considered a treatment, as no doctor prescribed it to a patient or followed it as a method of treatment despite its benefits for some diseases, and it is considered a kind of luxury that leads to relaxation by manipulating tissues and muscles.

Massage does not have any side effects and is simple. It helps you relax and get rid of stress, anxiety and pain, which makes you feel comfortable. It also does not require many tools, for which there are many alternatives. You need a comfortable bed or a massage bed, and you can dispense with it and replace it with a floor mat or the sofa. The most important thing is that The person feels comfortable during the massage, and that he can relax, or with regard to massage oil, and if it is not available, baby oil, comfortable pillows, and towels can be used.

How to do a back massage
The human back is one of the areas most exposed to pressure and pain as a result of any tension, anxiety or exertion, and the back is one of the most requested areas for massage, where you can easily perform a back massage if you follow the following method and tips:

You have to prepare the place well, bring a blanket like the one used in camping and put it on the bed, and do not forget to put some towels around it to absorb any excess oil.
Position the pillow so that it is at the breastbone when lying down.

Dim the lighting and make sure that the room temperature is appropriate so that it is neither hot nor cold. You can use aromatic candles and listen to calm music. Remember that the main goal is to relax. Do whatever helps you achieve that.
The person puts a towel around his waist and up to the knees, then lies on the bed, taking into account the placement of a towel under the forehead area to maintain the safety of the neck, and another towel is placed under the ankles of the feet, you must make sure that the person feels comfortable and that nothing disturbs him.

Rub the oil between your hands and paint the entire back with oil, then place one hand on top of the other and start massaging in the form of small circles from the lower back to the top, taking into account that this is in one direction and one side for a period of (2-3) minutes, during which the process is repeated with downward pressure.

Put your hand in an L shape, then squeeze and close by pulling your thumb towards your index finger, but be careful not to overpressure.
Make fists and press gently on the back, avoiding the spine, then rub and massage the area between the shoulder blades.
Repeat the steps on the other side, massage both sides with pressure with your thumb, straighten your hand and massage the back gently, then wipe off the traces of remaining oil, and this is how the massage ends.

Always remember not to increase the amount of oil used, and not to increase the strength of pressure, and not to resort to massage if you suffer from unhealed wounds, spinal injuries, osteoporosis, blood clots, fever, or cancer, except after consulting your doctor.
